We started with a completely blank slate on this primary bedroom. The owners built their beautiful home in 2020, but their bedroom was the last space to receive attention. I was excited to create a serene space for the owners to relax. We started by painting the entire room (walls, ceiling and trim work) a soothing muddy gray/green. We then added some beautiful texture with a tonal grass cloth wall behind the bed. The focal point of the room is definitely the sculptural black four poster bed layered with a beautiful seaglass velvet quilt and a white linen duvet. We added some needed storage with the grey washed dressers flanking the bed. The rusty brown curtains bring an unexpected romance to the room, and the leather sofa adds a touch of modern masculinity.
