The Lubbock primary bedroom began as a blank slate in a newly built 2020 home, making it the perfect opportunity to create a serene and deeply personal retreat. As part of this primary bedroom design, we enveloped the space in a soothing muddy gray-green, painting the walls, ceiling, and trim to create a calming, cohesive foundation. A tonal grasscloth accent wall behind the bed introduces subtle texture and depth, while a sculptural black four-poster bed serves as the focal point, layered with a seaglass velvet quilt and crisp white linen bedding. Grey-washed dressers flanking the bed provide both symmetry and much-needed storage. Rust-toned drapery adds an unexpected touch of romance, and a leather sofa grounds the room with quiet, modern masculinity. The result is a thoughtfully furnished primary suite that feels restful, refined, and intentionally collected.
