The Long Wood mudroom began as a cramped walk-through laundry room with very little function, so we reimagined the layout to better serve this hardworking family home. By expanding into the garage, we were able to create space for a utility sink, extra refrigerator, custom lockers, a built-in desk, and even a coffee bar, transforming it into a highly functional mudroom and laundry space. Beyond function, we layered in thoughtful materials to make the room feel just as welcoming as the rest of the home. A full wall of marble mosaic tile, white oak floating shelves, and moody blue cabinetry add warmth, texture, and depth. The result is a beautifully designed mudroom renovation that works hard behind the scenes while still feeling cozy, elevated, and intentionally collected.
